CSGB Group Takes on 500km London2Paris Cycle Challenge to Support Charity

CSGB Group is not only committed to providing top-quality stables, log cabins, and sheds but to also making a positive impact in our community. That’s why we are thrilled and excited to announce our participation in a fantastic fundraising event.

On the 6th of June, Kelvin, Andy, and Bob will be embarking on the London to Paris Cycling Challenge in aid of Cure Leukaemia. Team CSGB will peddle their way through 500km over 4 days, starting in the busy streets of London and finishing amongst the iconic sights of the French capital.

This mammoth challenge is not just going to be a test of physical endurance, but a unique opportunity to strengthen friendships, make memories that will last a lifetime, and experience the challenge and reward that comes with fundraising.

Over the past year, we have had to navigate through some significant hurdles in preparation for the cycle. Andy suffered from an injury that resulted in him having to undergo surgery in February of this year. Thankfully due to the fantastic support from our Nat Lane neighbours, BodyTech, Andy is well on the way to recovery and he is almost back in full training and is hoping for some better weather when he gets back on the open road.

Kelvin and Bob on the other hand are as Andy calls them ‘machines’, they are already gearing up for the challenge and plan to have their last beers this weekend before intensive training begins. Their dedication is nothing short of inspiring!

We want to share this journey with you, and we plan to keep you updated with training and challenge progress through our blog and social media channels. Your encouragement, support, and engagement with these updates would mean the world to Kelvin, Andy, and Bob, so please feel free to comment and share.

The primary reason why Kelvin, Andy, and Bob have decided to embark on such a challenge is to support a cause that is close to our hearts. As we prepare for the challenge, we are asking for your support and your generosity can make a huge impact for those of us who are unlucky in suffering from Leukaemia. We are immensely grateful for any donations that you can make, not matter how small.

Supporting this challenge could not be easier, simply click the ‘donate’ button at the bottom of this page and follow the on-screen instructions.

Lastly, spreading the word is just as crucial as donating. Please help us raise more funds by sharing this article with your network.
